급변하는 현 시대에 조금은 더 명상적인 태도로 공간을 바라보고자 한다.  사람이 점유하는 모든 곳에서 우리는 건축이라는 언어로 삶에 소소한 주제를 이야기하며 공간의 새로운 가치를 논하고자 하는 것이다.  건축은 실용적인 물체로서 현시대의 각각의 기능을 수행하겠지만 그 속에서도 예술의 영향력과 같은 관념들의 요소들을 찾고 감각의 공간들을 탐구해 나가야 한다. 고귀한 신념으로 세상을 구원할 건축을 추구하자는 것은 아니며 새로운 형태를 통해 엄청난 부가가치를 만들어 낼 것도 아니다. 단지 현 시대의 무뎌진 우리의 감각을 다시 불러 일으킬 공간을 고민해 가며 그러한 건축을 통해 일상의 조언을 건네고자 하는 것이다. 우리의 실용적인 건축 속에서도 무용한 가치와 낭만이 깃들어 새로운 경험의 공간으로 들어나길 바란다.

We wish to look at spaces with some more meditative attitudes in the present age. We are going to talk about small themes of life at any place occupied by human with the language of architecture, and to argue the new value of space. Architecture will perform its own function in the contemporary time as a practical object, but the elements of ideas, such as influence of arts, should be searched for in it, and spaces of sense should be explored. It is not to pursue architecture that will save the world with noble belief, nor to create tremendous value-added through new forms. It is only to think about spaces that will reawaken our blunted senses in the present age, and suggest everyday advice through such architecture. It is hoped that even our practical architecture will be indwelt by useless value and romanticism, and will emerge as spaces of new experience.

인하대 건축학과와 동대학원을 졸업하고 캐나다 BCIT (British Columbia Institute of Technology) 에서 Frame Structure Process Design 과정을 수료하였으며  프랑스건축사회 프로그램의 11th 쟝프루베 & 김중업 Scholarship 선발되었다.

㈜해안 건축과 원오원 아키텍스, 프랑스 파리 DPA (Dominique Perrault Architecture)등에서 다양한 규모에 프로젝트로 실무를 쌓았다.   원오원 아키텍스에서는 현대카드 디자인 라이브러리와 현대카드 부산사옥, 현대카드 쿠킹라이브러리를 담당하였다.

현재 모어레스건축사사무소 대표이며 인하대학교 건축학과 겸임교수로 재직중이며 BF인증 심사의원으로 활동중이다.

2020년 제주건축문화대상에서 나지요네의 작품으로 대상을 수상하였다.
