★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly the best hairdresser experience that I had! I sadly forgot the assistant's name but she was very nice and asked in detail what kind of cut I wanted and other details about how I styled my hair, last haircut etc. Communicating what I wanted wasn't difficult as they speak english too. Had the most comfortable time getting my hair washed and I was given a choice of free drinks and snacks whilst getting my hair cut. The designer Jolie did a great job with my hair and styled it beautifully too. They give free samples and discounts for bookings and for foreigners depending on what you're getting done. Overall it was a lovely experience and I would love to come back! Thank you Soonsiki!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved my experience at soonsiki! I got a hair treatment and a haircut! The staff was super friendly and attentive. They gave me a free drink which is also very nice! I really love how my haircut turned out, the stylist really knew what he was doing! I would definitely recommend this salon if you’re in 홍대.

Although my Korean speaking skills were very limited yoniyoko and her staff were so patient and understanding throughout the entire process! they were incredibly nice and explained everything in detail and continued to give me tips on how to maintain the cut. the perm/cut itself is so nice; i am beyond satisified with how it looks! salon was incredibly clean and was also very pretty!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this salon twice during my trip to seoul. Both times I had very friendly and attentive hair stylists! Yeo Reum, even though she couldn't speak much English really tried her best with me, and gave me a fantastic color. Beom during my second visit was super friendly and communicated well with me. Overall, I really loved the service from this salon and they were very foreigner friendly as it could get intimidating as a foreigner knowing little to no korean. Will definitely be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my haircut and showed the stylist photos of what I wanted. I ended up with my hair cut WAY too short. The photo was medium length and we agreed on a good length but she just cut more and more off and at some point used sheers to thin my already thin hair out. The ends were also way too choppy. After the appointment I went home wanting to cry because I was so upset. Even people I know said I looked better before and now I don’t want to leave my house. I know hair grows but this is going to take a long time to grow back. When and if I ever come back to Korea I unfortunately will not come back for my haircuts here. I added the extra star because of the good attitude and kindness of the staff and stylist. .
