★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hotel and resort is very nice and big. It is like a palace and the atmosphere is so warm since it is near the sea. The room is wide and clean and they have different stores and restaurants inside. I only stayed here for one night but the experience is so memorable. I love this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's beautiful here, for sure, and there are cute activities for the kiddos at all hours of the day, from arcades to an area for driving cars (similar to Power Wheels), even with remote controls.That's about where the positive feedback stops, however. Be prepared for the most disappointing customer service by resort staff I've ever experienced, especially at the front desk. If you're a foreigner, just don't expect staff to understand or be remotely accommodating without condescension. Restaurant staff are pretty friendly, though. Also, BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS!! The ones they offer are smaller than the size bath houses offer, and they charge you for additional towels. One of our rooms also wreaks of cigarettes, which we've had to switch with relatives, for the sake of the kids. It'll help to bring your own water and food/snacks as backup for picky eaters, as they're priced at a premium at the little on-site market. Overall, the service you receive at any place is enough to make or break an experience. I've been visiting my extended family for 2 weeks now with my nieces, nephew, parents and siblings, and we've been staying at hotels and resorts all over this country. We can all agree that the treatment my relatives have received here so far at Sol Beach Hotel & Resort is, by far, the absolute worst.
Oh, and I really wish the resort would leave the bird nests alone. We're all just trying to make it, including mama birds & their babies!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A luxury condominum located at Yangyang area, the east seashore of Korean peninsula. 160km away from Seoul via Seoul-Yangyang highway in 2 hours.
It is composed of Hotel and condominium. Operated with membership. So, membership is required to reserve rooms (by pwersonal, by company).
There is a private beach beyond the buildings and non-members could access through building.
Also, lots of seafood restaurants around Yangyang area with suffficient parking space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In this hotel, we stayed at its third floor so that we could see sea and mountain together. It has a beautiful view with kind staffs. When we opened the window, we could hear the sound from the sea. We could also hear the sound from the beach. A very cozy but luxurious hotel. I recommend it!
