It is also a shame that it was really hard for foreigners to get help or any guidance. I hope to never have to come here again.

I had to ask so many questions and may be there was some secret code I needed to use(???) to get any help. The woman did not seem interested in checking government information for my Korean wife and I, even though we had new technology to provide to the Korean economy. I’ve paid MUCH tax in Korea, but such low quality “service? Very tiring and discouraging experience. We’ll go overseas and register/launch it.

However, they know very little about the needs of foreign entrepreneurs. They have programs that seek to grow the Korean economy by bringing foreign innovation into the fold, but they are misguided at best, and exploitative at worst.

All the programmes seem to be very targeted, and restrictive. Perhaps they have the numbers of inquires that this works for them, but it didn't seem to me that it was a place for capable entrepreneurs or residents to find assistance.. Some of their online material seemed useful for new arrivals.
