최근 어린이놀이터등을 새로 보수 수리하여 재정비하여
깔끔하고 쾌적한 공원
팔각정과 아이들이 좋아할만한 동물조각상 및 돌하르방과
어른들이 할 수 있는 게이트볼장과 운동기구들이 있어
공원의 역할과 나들이장소로의 특별성과 완만한 길로 이루어져있어 미취학 아동과도 쉽게 다닐 수 있다
그리고 팔각정 위에서 내려다보는 사천시의 모습또한 장관이다
아이들은 목재로 만든 놀이터에서 신나게 놀고
어른들은 깨끗이 정비된 길을 따라 사뿐히 걸으면
운동과 재미를 잡을 수 있다
