인성고등학교는 호심 김인곤 박사가 지난 74년 설립해 개교한 학교다. 88년에 원래 있던 진월동에서 지금의 부지로 이전했으며 학교법인 호심학원 소속 광주대학과 분리되어 인성학원으로 독립법인 소속이 되었다.
인성고는 김인곤 박사 설립이념에 따라 능력인, 인내인, 지성인 양성을 목적으로 수많은 인재를 양성해오고 있는 학교다. 20000여명의 졸업생을 배출했고 그중 수능만점자 3명이 나오기도 했다. 지금은 광주의 새로운 주거문화단지로 부각되고 있는 효천지구의 축으로서 역할도 하고 있으며 안중섭 교장을 비롯한 교직원 모두가 '감사할 줄 아는 진정한 실력을 갖춘' 인성인 양성을 위해 최선을 다하고 있다.

Inseong High School was founded and opened in 1974 by Dr. In-gon Kim, Hoshim. In 1988, it moved from the original Jinwol-dong to the current site, separated from Gwangju University under Hosim Academy and became an independent corporation as Insung Academy.
Inseong High School is a school that has cultivated numerous talents with the aim of cultivating talented, patient, and intellectual according to the founding philosophy of Dr. Ingon Kim. It produced about 20,000 graduates, of which 3 were perfect. It is also playing a role as the axis of Hyocheon District, which is now emerging as a new residential and cultural complex in Gwangju, and all of the faculty and staff, including Principal Ahn Joong-seop, are doing their best to cultivate human beings who have'real ability to appreciate'.
