This place may have the best scenery in Seoul! View is overwhelming! No wonder SeokPa Lee Heung Seon took away this place from the power house Prime Minister Kim Heung Keun. Now it is a part of Seoul Museum, privately owned who charge 5,000won just to browse through the area.

Museum and park are very good. But tickets-clerk lied to me about my ticket when I asked to explain difference between ticket for 5000won and 11000won (because prices only in Korean). She said that only ticket for 11000won gives an access to “everything” (building + park). It’s not true and ticket for 11000 gives MONTHS PERMISSION. But I knew it only at night after came back home. Lying is wonderful business.

A beautiful & wonderful little gem in seoul. Definitely recommend it. Do take your time to walk around the garden and really absolve the beauty this place holds. You'll definitely get a sense of why it was the king's fav place:) visit from April to autumn should be amazing, although I went when it was still chilly it was still wonderful.

You might think you are in country side even though you are in Seoul! Strongly recommending.

There is no place like this in Seoul. You must visit this, whether you live in Seoul or not!

What a beautiful venue with historical value. Korean traditional house is built in nature. There are rocks, a small water stream, many trees and flowers. It's connected to an art museum. The garden holds weddings ( heard it is quite pricey and as expensive as 5star hotel's). I enjoyed the atmosphere although the day I visited was quite sunny and was too hot to be outside for lunch time wedding ceremony. The food served there was decent. It would've been nice if they had some shade. Loved it.

it’s a hidden jewel of Seoul. In the middle of downtown Seoul, there is a small garden/park with pavilions in traditional Korean and Chinese blended architectural style. You will be surprised to see the place one you get there.. and the fall would be a perfect timing to visit the place.
