Jinju CC is a membership golf course with the longest history in Jinju, operated by Cheonghak C&D, along with East Hill CC in Gyeongju. As you enter the entrance to the main gate, the tree-lined tunnel makes you feel that the years have piled up. It is a shorter distance than Jincheon Emerson, but it gives a similar feeling. Jinju CC, opened in 1996, is an 18-hole golf course designed by RONAD W.FREAM of Golf Plan and constructed by Kumho Development for the second time in Korea. The fairways are Korean grass and the greens are made of bent grass. The par 72 6,355 meter short map offers a challenging and strategic play opportunity for long-distance hitters. The Namgang Course, an out course, starts from the bottom of the start square and returns to the course. The first hole par 4 is a right dogleg hole with a structure that tends to lean to the right. Par 3 3 is not an easy hole to attack if you have to cross the trees on the right. The second half is a challenging course that traverses natural valleys (creeks) everywhere. The in-course Chokseok Course starts from the right at the start square and returns to the center. The 10th par 4 is a downhill hole with a dogleg on the right, and the lake and bunkers on the right side of the green require precise shots. The 13th hole, par 3, is structured similar to the Korean peninsula and has a different level of difficulty depending on the location of the pins. Hole 14 Par 4 With an impressive 410-meter hole and a bunker extending from the tee to the green, the charming par 3 on the 16th hole delivers an impressive feeling. Jinju CC is a fun course in which you move after shooting among the tall trees around the course with a long history. And there are many left and right dogleg holes, and the natural forest in the curved area is a place of concern. When the shot feels good, it provides a nice scenery, but if the shot swings left and right, it will shake your heart with every dogleg hole. It is recommended as a course with the right balance of trees and bunkers. The green speed was slow at 2.1, and it was easy to get used to putting. However, the fairway condition around the green and the condition of the fairways and rough lawns are good, which adds to the fun of play.
