Dang this has got to be one of the best Turkish food places in the area. Juicy tender meat. Flavorful sauces. Breads are amazing. Must try this place! Kebab box is amazing. Lahmacun wrap is fantastic! Definitely coming back!

It's a little unclear what you're supposed to do when you arrive. Good falafel wraps. Same guys as Nazers. Black tea could be a little stronger and the Baklava is just ok. Update 2/13/2, same options only the price has doubled. Insane. Baklava is now boxed and not made fresh.

As it became our first time to eat there, which was a few months ago, our first time there was not really appealing. The appetizers were really oily. We ordered the macaroni cubes, and when you picked them up with a napkin, the napkin became really oily. When went to our table, the waiter did not notice that we were ready to order. Someone in our party had to tell them that we were ready to order. Also, many of the workers, mostly the chefs, had their mask down, which kind of disturbed us. Overall, I really liked the Middle Eastern food and the restaurant design.

Update to post six months ago. The remodel looks the same as far as I can remember. The food is good, but still a bit expensive (2-3,000₩ more than what it should be). Why two stars instead of three? When the waitress brought our table the mac&cheese ball appetizer two of the three pieces were burnt to a crisp. I asked, "is this the same thing?" pointed to the plate, and politely asked "why is it burnt?" and the waitress walked away. I even called the waitress back over and asked that she take them back because they were burnt. No apology, no taking off of bill... not going back.

Drove from Seoul to Pyeongtaek for the day. Found this fantastic little restaurant right near Rodeo Street with parking out front (parking is always an important factor to consider). This was the first time for us in this part of Pyeongtaek and wasn't sure what we would find for lunch, but this place turned out great. Red Onion Restaurant has a variety of food (American, Mexican, Turkish, Middle Eastern, and Greek). We really enjoy Turkish food and haven't had alot of opportunity to get Turkish food living in Seoul. We ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab, Saksuka, Turkish Bread, and an Ayran yogurt drink. Everything was fantastic. Chicken was nicely seasoned and moist. Never had Saksuka before, but it was great. The staff was very fiendly and spoke good english. Reasonably priced, great food, good location, and parking isn't complicated. If you go to Pyeongtaek, we highly recommend this place. After eating, you can easily walk over to Rodeo street with plenty of shopping, desserts, bars and cool stuff. Everything was just awesome, except for the incredibly terrible traffic on our way back to Seoul, but our great lunch at Red Onion made the traffic misery a little easier to deal with.

Their food tastes amazing but I’m slightly irritated with their seemingly deceitful tactics. This is the second time I’ve ordered their kavurma lamb, paid lamb prices, and then instead received a cheaper beef alternative. It’s almost as if they thought I wouldn’t notice the difference. One person commented on them playing “Jedi mind tricks”. It’s true. If you’re not careful, they’ll nonchalantly ask if you’re interested in any of the “add-ons” in a way that makes it sound like they’re doing you a favor, and then they’ll hit you with an additional 15,000 won bill.

Gourmet, clean, friendly and delish. Just outside of walk out gate. Great healthy food is just around the corner. I was a bit surprised by their large menu and selections from most ethnicities, but I was not disappointed. See pics. Food was superb and of the highest quality and service was awesome as well.

The food is solid and plentiful, the service is prompt and very polite and they were very child friendly. Yes we judge places based on stroller access. We were stuffed when we left and we brought food home. The only thing is the restaurant is halal and as such does not have alcohol. I don’t actually have an issue with this and give them credit for having the courage of their convictions. The Turkish food is the best in the area and they just did a complete renovation and it’s a great place to get dinner.
