★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bit far away from seoul, about one and half hour by subway. It is a historical site surrounded by all modern structures which is built nowadays. It is quite and full of culture, also it has the best view to see Suwon city if you climb up the walls. If there's plenty of time, the Paltal-gongwon is a place worth visiting.
