★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 옥순봉은 단양팔경중 유일하게 단양에 소재하지 않은 곳으로 현재 제천시 수산면에 위치.해발 283m의 옥순봉은 높은 산봉우리는 아니지만 청풍호와 어우러져 아름다운 풍광을 연출.옥순봉이 수직으로 된 절벽을 형성하게 된것은 수직절리가 발달한 화강암에 하천의 침식작용이 지속되어 깎아 지른 단애가 만들어져있기 때문.가족들과 함께 해도 별다른 어려움없이 갈수있음.바로 앞엔 가은산 금수산이 위치해서 날이 맑으면 저멀리 월악산 영봉까지 볼수있음.
Oksunbong Peak is the only place in Danyang, not located in Danyang, currently located in Susan-myeon, Jecheon-si. As the erosion of the river continues and the carved sweets are made in the granite which is developed, it is possible to go without any difficulties even with the family.

옥순봉, 구담봉.
세시간이면 충분합니다.
It's not difficult and the scenery is nice, the mountain,
Oksunbong, Gudambong.
Three hours is enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 등산코스는 짧지만, 뛰어난 경관이 병풍처럼 드리워져 있는 곳. 등산로는 다소간 급경사지만...짧은 시간을 투자해 이토록 아름다운 경치를 볼 수 있다는 것만으로 충분한 가치가 있는 곳
The hiking course is short, but the scenery is draped like a folding screen. The trail is somewhat steep, but it's worth it just to be able to see such a beautiful scenery with a short time investment.
