★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 장도포대지(獐島砲臺址) 인천 남동구 논현동에 있는 2천275㎡ 규모의 조선시대 말기 성곽시설로, 2001년 인천시 문화재자료 제19호로 지정됐다.
장도포대지는 조선 고종 16년(1879)에 일본 측이 서해안을 측량하면서 개항지를 탐색하는 것을 보고 인천을 개항 후보지로 요구할 것을 대비하여 어영대장 신정희와 강화유수 이경하가 인천과 부평 연안에 화도진을 설치하고 포대를 만들 때 함께 만들어진 것으로서 1999년 ‘화도진도’ 원본 확인을 통해 이곳에 3혈(穴)의 포대를 설치했다는 사실이 밝혀졌다. 현재는 포대의 모습을 찾아볼 수 없고 문헌에는 포좌 3기가 설치되어 있었던 것으로 기록되어 있다.
인근에는 소래전통어시장과 소래포구,소래생태습지공원,소래역사관,소래철교등이 있다. 문화재청 제공
Jangdopodaeji(獐島砲臺址) This is a 2,275m2 site located in Nonhyeon-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon. It is a fortress facility from the end of the Joseon Dynasty, and was designated as Cultural Property Material No. 19 by Incheon City in 2001.
In the 16th year of King Gojong’s reign (1879), in the 16th year of King Gojong’s reign (1879), in preparation for the Japanese side surveying the west coast and searching for an open port and requesting Incheon as a candidate site for opening a port, Eoyeong commander Shin Jeong-hee and Ganghwa Yusu Lee Kyung-ha installed Hwadojin on the coast of Incheon and Bupyeong. It was made together when the sack was made, and when the original 'Hwadojindo' was verified in 1999, it was revealed that three blood sacks were installed here. Currently, the appearance of the battery cannot be found, and the literature records that three guns were installed.
