경전선의 철도역 중 하나로써, 아주 조그마한
간이역으로서의 옛 모습을 간직한, 2020년 기준으로 몇 남지 않은 간이역이라는 점에서
높은 가치가 있다고 생각한다.
고속화 시대가 진행되고 있지만,
이런 옛날 감성과 단선철도를 운영하는 노선과 역이 점점 사라져 간다는 것이 기차를 좋아하는 사람으로서 안타깝다.
기차가 정차하지만 생각보다 많지는 않다.
이곳 주민들 외에는 거의 배차량이 많지 않을 것 같다.
