★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty nice for a government run hospital. Nice and helpful staff. Clean environment. My friend was in a large room by himself. He couldn't leave the room though. Had to wear a mask to visit him in the room. Staff made sure my mask was on before I entered and checked routinely that I was still wearing it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has been a pleasant experience to get my departure PCR test done. The major bottleneck lies with the registration booth #2. Easy instructions. It was much faster in other hospital. Remember to form up in line properly in the queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called first to verify they issue hardcopy of COVID19 PCR result in English as it is required to travel to US. They verified and told me the cost is 20,000 won. Came to find out there were hidden costs and ended up paying 141,930 won. Bit their bait but had no choice as I only have 72-hr window. Bit pricey just to travel IMO. There are other private clinics that cost much less but have to search around as most places won’t offer hardcopy test results.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you look for a place to do a Covid-19 PCR test before departing in Seoul, Korea, especially on the weekends.
Recommending this National Medical Center located in Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station exit 13.
The center is open for weeks and weekends. It's not necessary to make a reservation and processes about 1h15m in total. The result comes out 24hrs, and it requires to come and pick up the result paper. (Do not forget your passport!!!)
Step 1. Fill out and get a receipt number at the Overseas Departure Screening Clinic place
Step 2. Check your blood pressure
Step 3. Pay for the test at the reception desk
Step 4. Meet a doctor in the interview room and answer simple questions
Step 5. Get a test at the Walk-Through Booth
Step 6. Receive your receipt and the credit card.
Step 7. Wait for your result and SMS message within 24hrs.
Step 8. Get the result sheet at window 10 on the 1st floor of the main building
