A place for families and friends,
Can include 4D VR experience or a course of flight attendants...
Recommended to all who go through GIMPO airport that is just across the street!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting exhibition about Korean aviation. The first part is mostly history, starting with da Vinci ending with the Zeppelins. Then there is a big section with airplanes, parts and different documents from more recent times.
The upper levels are about the aiports, airport facilities and the history of Gimpo and Incheon airport.
There are some airport lights set up outside, a 757 wing and also some statues of early Korean aviators.
The place is brand new, very well organized but not too big. 2 hours is plenty to see everything.
Most of the signs and texts are translated to English as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Museum is a must visited place. Located in Gimpo Airport area, easy access and free admission. In addition to resourceful, polite and helpful staffs, this Museum will give the Guests rich knowledge of Korea Aviation history.
Amazing experiences also can be found if Guest tries to enjoy the cabin simulator, air traffic controller area, plane rolling simulation. As well as information about future aviaton for Korea, even general history about aviaton in other countries.
For attention, during this Covid pandemic, it is strongly suggested to register online to get time frame for entering the Museum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ free entrance (quota of 80 per hour and need to be booked online). weekday not busy. Attractions (red eagle jetfighter, cockpit simulator, control tower, inflight training, kids etc) at 5,000KRW pp with skilled instructors retired from commercial airlines. Additional facility : museum (including history of civil aviation since KNA national airlines days in 50ies etc), convenience store, library with books for free rent, rooftop garden and pic nic room. No cafe but OK to bring drinks in outdoor place.
