I	Ibrahim R. Hakim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an amazing experience when I arrived in this place. So I was lost in the neighbourhood and was looking to eat something for lunch. I checked Google to see what restaurants were around me, and this place had a really high ratings. But I noticed that most of the reviews recommended to bring a native speaker when visiting this restaurant. As my wife and I were already hungry at that time, we braved ourselves to take the risk and go into the restaurant. We were greeted with a confused look by the waiter, as if she was saying "You lost?". Then I asked for the menu, and she showed me pictures of eel set menus with their prices. They were expensive, but I went with it anyway. None of the waitresses spoke English, and all I did was kept smiling, nodding and ocassional polite "Uhmmm...". Luckily, they still treated us like normal customers and we were served an abundance of side dishes. They brought the eels out that cooked them on our table. It was mesmerising! They took care of the eel very well, and made sure to take off the excess burnt if there was any. The taste was superb! It did not tase fishy at all. You could taste the barberque-y flavour being infused to the flesh and skin of the eel. My wife and I was happy with our experience and food there even though we did not speak Korean at all. But bear in mind that we visited the restaurant on a weekday, thus it was not too busy. If it was a weekend, probably the staff would be annoyed with amateurs like us slowing down their services.
T	Thomas Hahm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive eel place where they cook for you in front of you. About 60 USD per person but worth it if you like eel. Other side dishes are decent but not great. I thought some of the side dishes were a bit salty for my taste.

K	Katie Tung on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 23.9.2017: great place for eel lovers like me :) great service and food, fine ambience, my table is next to a table of 3 guys, somewhat feel like alumnus, in a small private room, my lady server does everything from cooking the raw eel to cutting into pieces, i feel like a queen..the cons would be the price is a bit pricey, KRW32,000 for one piece and minimum order for each table is two pieces..but i'll definitely be back!

I don’t know how long this restaurant has been here but the staff look like they have been here since day one and very much part of the furniture. Just when you wonder, the green stuff in a glass is the liquor made from the eel’s gall bladders... supposed to give you strength! Take a pickle garlic to take the edge off if you find it too much. The waitress cooks the eel and cut them into manageable pieces when it’s ready to eat. Overall it’s a very pleasant experience and if you like bbq eel all the better!
