★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Largest open market in Jeonju. To help revitalize the market, younger generations are setting up shops with cool artisan crafts and foods for sale. Downstairs is the usual open market and above has a fresh twist. Love the merging of old and new. Be sure to check out the taco shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a great day market and rather diverse from food to clothing to furniture. What makes this great is it is near a traditional Korean area complete with palace and if you wander you will find hidden garden areas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Catch the night market held on Friday and Saturday nights, with the peak period around 8pm. Delicious street food that are not overpriced. Be sure to check out the two roof markets: with live bands, fairy lights, stores selling unique items and even free movie screenings, you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself as much as I did!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited the market on a Friday evening around 8pm. This place is happening ... it was full of people, and vendors selling a variety of foods and snacks. The surrounding area has lots of shopping to do as well. We had a great time eating and shopping till 10+pm.
