Around Daegu, you can find lots of this kind of memorials for the Korean war. It's not like other cities. Daegu is very famous for conservativism. It's like Texas or Austin in USA. It's a result of Korean McCarthyism.
Therefore you can see a part of Korean social issue and history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Next to the start of the hike to Apsan Mountian, is this Army museum about the Korean War.
A lot of military equipment outside to include a plane.
Inside are lots of North Korean artifacts to include weapons, uniforms, and maps.
The signs are in Korean and English and are a good place to learn about the Korean war and the war in the area.
There are no guides on premises.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not much going on, and the English is very minimal. I hiked the mountain and accidentally found it on the way out which was nice to walk through for free. But if you are looking for anything substantial look elsewhere.

But it's a good place to look over the dagau city.
Very near mountains.
Fresh air.
But the stairs over 100 steps.
If you have hurt about knees.
Take care yourself.
