Where it all began
The MOSCOT optical roots were first planted in America by Great Great Grandfather and family patriarch, Hyman Moscot, who arrived from Eastern Europe via Ellis Island in 1899. Hyman began selling ready-made eyeglasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street on Manhattan's famed Lower East Side.

First of all, they are so pretty and cool that anyone who likes glasses can listen to them, and they are so kind that I bought the glasses right away. If you like Moscot glasses, go check it out and try it yourself

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is only about the store experience (I have not received my glasses yet). A boutique selection of frames that is mostly plastic frames. Price and experience more similar to a boutique optician in the US. Choices were offered between Zeiss lenses and a Japanese brand. The woman that helped me spoke English that was proficient enough to complete the exam and discuss lens options. If you are looking for a cheap and same day option, this is not for you. I will adjust my review once I have received the product. Overall the experience was good.
