거기서 내려다 보는 돗대바워,황매정사, 가회저수지 등.. 조망이 일품이다..
어찌보면 설악산의 작은 비선대 같다고할까?
◇ 모산재(767m). 茅山(모산)
모산재는 잣골듬이라고도 부르고, `신령스런 바위산`이란 뜻의 영암산으로 부르기도 한다. 산이나 봉이 아닌 `높은 산의 고개`라는 뜻의 재라는 것이 특이하다. 산 전체가 하나의 거대한 바위덩어리로 보이는 모산재는 한폭의 한국화 를 연상케한다. 각양각색의 형태를 한 바위하며 그 바위틈에서 살아가는 소나무의 모습이 화폭을 그대로 옮겨놓은 듯하다.
황매정사, 쇠사다리, 돛대바위, 무지개터, 황매산성. 순결바위, 국사당을 잇는 산행 코스로 주능선 부분은 풍화작용으로 넓은 평지를 이루고 숲이 우거졌으며, 정상에는 한국 제일의 명당자리로 알려진 무지개터와 바위 끝 부분이 갈라진 커다란 순결바위있다. 순결바위는 평소 생활이 깨끗하지 못한 사람이 이 바위의 틈에 들어가면 빠져나오지 못 한다는 말이 전해진다.
◎ 茅山(모산) - 모산의 의미는 띠의 산 이다. 띠는 잔디 보다 키가 크서 옛날에 농가에서 띠잎으로 도롱이등 여러 가지 물건을 만들어 사용 하였다. 띠는 풀중에 가장 순결한 풀이다. 모산은 순결한 산을 의미하며 정상부근에 순결바위가 있음이 우연이 아니다, (茅 는 草木之 潔草 沙 는 土中之 潔土)

◇ Parent material (767m).茅山 (Moshan)
Mosanjae is also called pine nuts, and it is also called Yeongamsan which means 'spiritual rock mountain'. It is unusual that it means ash which means 'mountain of high mountain', not mountain or rod. Mosanjae, which looks like a huge rock mass as a whole, reminds us of a Korean painting. The variously shaped rocks and pine trees living in the cracks seem to have replaced the canvas.
Hwangmaejeongsa, iron ladder, mast rock, rainbow ruin, Hwangmaesanseong. It is a walking course that connects chastity rocks and Kuksadang. The main line part is a large flat land with forests. Chastity rocks are said to be unable to escape if a person who is not clean in their daily lives enters this crack.
◎ 茅山 (Mosan)-The meaning of Mosan is the mountain of zodiac. The strip is taller than the grass, so in the past, farmers used to make various items such as strips of bamboo strips. The strip is the purest grass in the pool. Mosan means pure mountain, and it is no coincidence that there is pure rock near the summit (정상 is 草木 之 潔 草 沙 is 土 中 之 潔 土)

기암괴석으로 이루어진 암봉들에 입을 다물기 힘들다.
돛대바위에 가기 위해 아주 가파른 계단을 올라야 한다.
모산재 정상이나 순결바위 능선에서 바라보는 돛대바위야 말로 천하절경이다.
모산재 주차장에서 원점회귀 산행을 하면 약 6 km거리가 된다.
