S	SEUNG JOON LEE on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 서울 양천구 목동에 있는 근린공원입니다.접근 할 수 있는 방법이 조금 어려운곳입니다. 인근에 이대목동병원과 양평교가 있습니다.목마공원은 지역의 옛 특성을 살려 ‘목마공원(木馬公園)’이라 이름 지었다. 공원에는 1999년 태풍 올가의 피해로 쓰러진 40년생 나무로 만든 목마상이 있다. 옛날 목동 지역은 홍수 때마다 범람하여 농사를 짓지 못했고, 대신 풀이 무성하게 자라나 조선시대에 말을 사육하던 목장이 있었다고 한다. 넓이 12,816.8㎡의 근린공원으로, 잘 가꾸어진 숲을 따라 산책로와 지압로, 벤치 등을 조성하였다. 족구 운동장과 게이트볼장, 농구장과 공중화장실이 마련되어 있다. 조성된지 오래된 공원이라 무성한 나무와 그늘은 좋지만 관리가 안되어있다.
