친절한 직원이 응대해주는 식당입니다. 입구에서 태국식품도 구입가능하네요. 방콕과 치앙마이 현지에서 먹던 음식맛은 아니네요. 한국인 입맛에 맞추어진것도 아닌것같고, 태국도 지역마다 음식맛이 다른가하면서 식사 했어요.
This restaurant is served by friendly staff. You can also buy Thai food at the entrance. It doesn't taste like the food I ate in Bangkok and Chiang Mai. It doesn't seem like it was tailored to Korean tastes, and in Thailand, I ate while thinking that the food tastes different in each region.

태국 현지에서 동네 식당에 가면 이런 느낌이지 않을까 싶을 정도로 정말 로컬한 느낌의 작은 음식점이다. 한국인과 태국인 국제 부부 사장님 두분이 운영하시는 곳 같은데 보통 다른 태국 음식점에서 이국적인 분위기를 위해 설치한 여러 인테리어 아이템들이 마치 기념품점에서 사온 것 같다고 한다면 이곳은 진짜 현지 식당에서 쓰던 것들을 가져온 것 같은 소품들로 내부가 꾸며져있다. 음료 광고가 붙어있는 테이블보와 수저통을 보니 옛날 어렸을 때 여름에 계곡 근처 닭백숙집에서 보았던 칠성사이다 식탁을 보는 것 같았고 뭔가 직접 찍은 것 같은 엉성한 메뉴판 사진과 함께 이질적으로 배치된 글자, 동네 꼬마가 아무렇게나 붙여둔 것 같은 스티커까지 이곳을 미친듯이 로컬하게 만들어줘서 태국에 가본적은 없지만 걸어서 세계속으로에서 본 것 같은 익숙한 태국의 향수를 느끼게 해준다. 보통 우리나라에 있는 고급화된 태국 음식점이 정통한정식집이라면 이곳은 현지 기사식당같은 느낌이랄까. 아직 약간 쌀쌀했지만 이곳 식탁에 앉으니 끕끕한 여름 냄새가 느껴졌다. 나중에 한여름에 오면 제대로 현지 느낌이 날 것 같았다. 뿌님팟퐁까리는 게껍질이 걸리적거리는 것 하나 없이 매우 고소하고 맛있었다. 바삭하면서 부드럽다는 말이 딱맞는 식감이었다. 지인의 추천으로 처음 먹어본 요리였는데 커리랑도 잘어울리고 처음 한 입 먹자마자 맛있다는 생각이 바로 든 음식이었다. 함께 한 지인도 서울 유명 태국음식점에서 먹었던 것보다 여기 뿌님팟퐁까리가 더 맛있었다고 했다. 같이 먹을 밥도 주문했는데 특이하게 한식당처럼 현미밥이 나왔다. 동남아식 쌀까지는 아니더라도 일반 흰쌀밥이 나오겠거니 했는데 우리 집 밥솥에서 퍼온 듯한 익숙한 비주얼의 현미밥이라 약간 의아하긴 했다. 개인적으로 평소에 공깃밥으로 흰쌀밥이 아닌 현미나 잡곡밥이 나오는 식당을 근본있는 곳으로 생각했는데 이곳은 타이음식점이다 보니 이게 좋은건지 어쩐건지 감이 잘 안잡혔다. 그래도 같이 비벼서 맛있게 먹었다. 쏨땀은 유투브같은 곳에서 타이음식을 볼 때마다 빠짐없이 나오는 음식이라 항상 궁금했던 요리였는데 생각보다 국물이 많이 있었고 상상했던 아삭한 식감은 아니었다. 생긴것도 비슷하고 해서 무생채같은 느낌을 생각했는데 훨씬 시큼하고 파파야 채가 섬유질이 많아서 그런지 아삭함과는 거리가 먼 식감이었다. 느끼할 수도 있는 요리와 함께 먹으면 좋을 것 같지만 시큼한 맛은 호불호가 조금 갈릴 수도 있을 것 같았다. 이곳에서는 창 맥주 등 태국현지 맥주도 마실 수 있고 간단한 식료품도 판매하는 것 같다. 선반에 비치된 판매식품도 뭔가 로컬슈퍼같은 느낌이 물씬 풍긴다. 사실 전반적으로 저렴하다고는 할 수는 없는 가격대이지만 다른 타이음식점보다는 조금 더 싼 편이고 맛도 좋은 곳이었다. 다음에 또다른 타이음식을 먹으러 재방문할 것 같다. 식당을 근본있는 곳으로
It is a small restaurant with a really local feeling, so you might feel like this if you go to a local restaurant in Thailand. This place seems to be run by two presidents of a Korean and Thai international couple, but if it is said that various interior items installed for an exotic atmosphere in other Thai restaurants are as if they were bought from a souvenir shop, this place is made with props that look like those used in a real local restaurant. Is decorated. When I looked at the tablecloths and cutlery with drinks advertisements, it seemed like I was seeing the Chilseong Saida table that I saw at a chicken baeksuk house near the valley in the summer when I was a child. Even though I've never been to Thailand, it makes me feel the familiar Thai nostalgia that I've seen from around the world on foot because I have never been to Thailand because it makes this place crazy and local, even the stickers that seem to have been put on it. If a high-end Thai restaurant in Korea is a traditional Korean set meal, this place feels like a local driver's restaurant. It was still a little chilly, but when I sat at the table here, I felt the smell of summer. When I came in the middle of summer later, I felt like I would have a sense of locality. The pu-nim patpongkari was very savory and delicious without any crab shells. The words that it was crispy and soft was the right texture. It was the first dish I had eaten with the recommendation of an acquaintance, but it went well with curry and immediately felt that it was delicious as soon as I had a bite. An acquaintance with us also said that the Punim Patpongkari here was more delicious than the one we had at a famous Thai restaurant in Seoul. We also ordered rice to eat together, but brown rice was served like a Korean restaurant. Even if it wasn't Southeast Asian rice, I thought there would be regular white rice, but it was a bit puzzled because it was brown rice with a familiar visual that seemed to come from our rice cooker. Personally, I usually thought of a restaurant that served brown rice and mixed grain rice instead of white rice as gonggibap, but as this is a Thai restaurant, I couldn't get a good sense of whether it was good or not. Still, we mixed it together and ate it deliciously. Som-Tam is a dish that comes out every time I see Thai food at places like YouTube, so I was always curious about it, but there was more soup than I thought, and it wasn't the crunchy texture I imagined. I thought about the feeling of non-saengchae because it was similar in appearance, but it was much sour and the papaya had a lot of fiber, so the texture was far from crisp. It would be nice to eat it with a dish that you might feel, but the sour taste seemed to be a little bit different from the likes and dislikes. You can drink local Thai beers such as Chang Beer here, and it seems that they also sell simple foods. The food for sale on the shelf also feels like a local supermarket. In fact, it is a price that cannot be said to be cheap overall, but it is a little cheaper than other Thai restaurants and tastes good. I think I will visit again next time to eat another Thai food.
