★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with one friend and only got the basic makgeolli with the pork and kimchi panchon. For the price what I got filled my tummy and sent my head into the pool. I would definitely go back to try to various other flavours and styles of makgeolli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the lychee ricotta cheese makgeoli is fantastic. The rest was far from it.
The service is awful! My friends and I felt alienated as soon as we walked through the door. We are forced to sit outside in the cold with tables available inside. There was no explanation. Also the server was extremely passive aggressive and rude.
Such a shame because I would have returned for the food and drinks. But I’ll save my self. And you should too.
친절을 바란건 아니었지만 처음부터 끝까지 너무 불친절하여서 당환했습니다.외국인 친구들과 막걸리 맛보러 왔는데 얼굴만 붉히고 가네요.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is a must for all visitors to Seoul, authentic Korean food which we really enjoyed plus they have the Korean rice wine called Makgeolli they have it in lots of flavours my favourite is Mango or blueberry but it's delicious and cheaper than water ?. It's basic, clean and friendly and it's very busy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The magkeolli salon was a bit hard to locate, as it is at the end of an alley and its signboard is in calligraphic Korean, which I cannot read :D The bar has great vibes and a great selection of various flavors of magkeolli. We ordered a tasting sample of 6 fruity flavors, and a green onion seafood pancake which was super yummy. Will come back here again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has some solid novelty and a great vibe. It's worth going to once, but the food (I got the 해물파전 or seafood pancake) is not very special considering the price. The makgeoli is good, but again it's a bit pricey for what you're getting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The map isn't that accurate, so look for hidden alley just next to Playground bar. tasting set was a good intro to makgoli. Loved their pork belly Kimchi Pancake, so yummy and different as it has very little flour/ egg texture
