★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Majang lake has a nice view, but there is a traffic jam in weekend time. Therefore, I'd like to recommend a visiting of weekdays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good to visit. Good place for walk around the lake as well as crossing the bridge.
Not easy to find a lublic parking space, then please find private parking area in restaurant or lounge. You can park there if you buy something of 10,000 won.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Manjang Reservoir is one of the iconic and scenic view in Paju city, South Korea. Specially the bird’s eye view from the suspension bridge will give you the feelings of incredibility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The parking lot is close to the cafe there and not too expensive but only payable with card. You can see an amazing sunset from near the parking lot because the cafe tower is closed very early. The bridge closes at 6pm so take care of the time when you arrive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bridge is awesome and the lake view is great. However, during the pandemic it's not open for people to cross freely which was an unfortunate discovery. You can walk around the lake but the trail doesn't connect so at some point you'll have to turn around and head back if you can't cross.
Also, it's best to drive yourself there or prepare to wait a long time for a bus. Getting there by taxi from the nearest subway station wasn't a problem. Getting a taxi back to the station was impossible. An hour of requesting a KakaoTaxi failed so the 50 minute bus ride was the only option. There was only 1 bus on the route so it took quite a while to get back to the subway station. Definitely plan ahead and figure out how you're getting back home.
The little cafe on top of the hill near the information center has great 해물김치전.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice Sunday to visit this lake ! A little hard to get there from Seoul, we took subway and 2 buses, in total 2 hours. But the lake is amazing in sunny days, the bridge was full of people and Korean families. Impressive bridge.
You can enjoy canoe and boat for 30 minutes in the lake !! I recommend this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place for fall colors and a nature walk. There use to be a privately-owned Elvis museum a little further down the road. Wonder if it is still there.
