★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the Lotte chain, there is something for everyone, be it ahjumma type grocery shopping at one of their hyper Lotte Marts, or high end shopping at Avenuel, or even frenzied tax free shopping for tourists at the Lotte DFS. Young Plaza by Lotte in Myeongdong has always been an extremely well edited, pulse on latest trend dept by Lotte. Ash shoes in fashion? ~ yes there is a pop up there; Barbapapa makeup by 3CE sold out everywhere? ~ Yes it's well stocked there. Line characters all the rage? ~ there is a little shop there, despite having the flagship less than 500m away. This is a great place to figure out what's happening in Seoul, and to use as a curated springboard into the wild world of Myeongdong across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Department store sells different goods. Clothing, toys, and other stuff are available. Easily accessible through the underground passage that is connected in the train stations. Very near meondong area and the lotte duty free shop. Their toilet is so clean and they give free mouthwash, although it's available only in girl's room and there's nothing for the boys. Free hot and cold drinking water is offered near the toilet with free paper cups. Don't expect to find discounted stuff here. Enjoy!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun and trendy shopping center geared towards the younger shopper. There is a nice roof top garden to chill after shopping all 7 floors of lotte young plaza. Shops range from Uniqlo, Muji, Miniso, Addidas, Nike, Line Friends store, LObhs, lots of cosmetic, lingerie and specialty retailers. The top floor is joint to Lotte AvenueL or sometimes called Lotte Shopping Centre. The top floor link bridge also brings you directly over to Lotte Cinema. Happy shopping :)
