★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 키친요로시쿠에서 늦은 점심을 먹고 내거 좋아하는 커피가게인 이문동커피집에 들러서 이 달의 새로운 커피는 어떤게 나왔는지 궁금해서 들르려고 하는데 혹시나 닫았을까 전활하는데 안 받음.
가까워서 일단 가보자고 가게 앞에 가니 역시나 닫았음. 전활 안 받으면 닫은 걸로..
또 다른 들를만한 곳이 있나 망플을 꺼내 보니 쏭스핫도그가 보여 전활해보니 다행히 영업중이어서 그 쪽으로 향함.
가게 근처에 주차를 하고 가게로 들어가니 손님은 없었고 나를 보시곤 한쪽에 앉아 계시던 사장님이 일어나심.
메뉴는 내가 좋아하는 명랑핫도그 같이 클래식한 느낌의 핫도그보단 뭔가 낯선 메뉴의 핫도그들이어서 그냥 기본 메뉴인 쏭스핫도그를 부탁드림.
사장님은 깨끗한 기름에 내가 주문한 쏭스핫도그를 넣어 튀기기 시작하시고 타이머를 세팅하심.
어느정도 기다려 타이머가 울리자 쏭스핫도그를 꺼내서 설탕을 묻혀드릴지 케첩이나 머스터드를 뿌려드릴지 물으시길래 설탕은 묻히지 말고 케첩만 뿌려달라고 부탁드림.
한 입 베어무니 빵가루 튀김옷은 전혀 느끼하지 않으면서 찹쌀이 들어갔는지 쫄깃바삭하면서 가볍게 포실한 느낌으로 요즘 많이 보이는 자미당같은 찹쌀꽈배기 전문점들에서 맛보는 것과 비슷한 느낌으로 좋은데 대신 안의 소시지는 최고급 소시지라는데 그런 느낌은 별로 들지 않고 싸구려 소시지는 아닌가보다 할 정도고 소시지의 맛이 아주 싱겁진 않았지만 비교적 밋밋한 맛이었음.
전체적으로 핫도그도 좋아해서 여기 쏭스핫도그의 핫도그가 좋은지 궁금해서 들러봤는데 요즘엔 이렇게 기름에 튀겼는데도 느끼하지 않고 가벼우면서 빵의 느낌보단 바삭쫄깃해서 찹쌀의 느낌이 강조된 반죽이 대세인 느낌인데 그러다 보니 소시지가 맛있는 핫도그를 먹는 느낌이 아니고 빵가루 튀김옷을 먹는데 소시지도 들어있는 느낌이어서 주객이 전도된 느낌이어서 가벼우면서 바삭쫄깃한 빵가루 튀김옷은 좋지만 소시지가 더 좋으면서 짭짤한 맛인 핫도그가 생각났던 방문이었음.
