T	Thais Jones on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chris and his cooking class was the highlight of my family’s trip to Seoul!!! We loved the intimate setting at his professional, at- home kitchen studio. It was immaculate, well thought out and spacious for my family of 5. My husband and I took the class with our children who are 4, 12 and 16. Chris was very engaging, kept all hands busy and interests peaked; months later, they still talk about how much fun the class was. As we learned to prepare traditional Korean dishes, we conversed and laughed together as though we had known each other for years. One of my favourite parts of the day was sitting with Chris, prior to cooking, and learning about Korean food and culture. Chris was very patient and seemed genuinely interested in answering our many questions. We left with full bellies, a richer knowledge of Korean culture, the experience of market shopping like a local and the feeling of having made a friend in the process. Without hesitation, we will take another class with Chris if are blessed to visit Seoul again. You will not be disappointed, reserve your spot at K- Cooking Class!

From touring a bustling 50 year old marketplace filled with all imaginable foods and produce, to cooking up an incredible Korean meal, he made me and my family feel very welcome and at ease. Chris was so good at teaching Korean cuisine- he had the perfect blend of information and history with a good dose of humor ?. He made us feel like old friends that evening, not just clients. I would highly recommend taking his class! It was an evening well spent ?

He showed us local ingredients and explained the history and relevance of them. His place is clean and very inviting. And the traditional food with 'Chris spin' was delicious!!! He was very knowledgeable about food and explained in an interesting, approachable way. We learned a lot and made a ton of delicious food. On top of all that, his studio(?) is beautiful and has a perfect atmosphere for enjoying all the food you've prepared. I cannot recommend him enough.
S	Sophie He on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing cooking class and evening with Chris! We went to Chris’s cooking class on our first night in Séoul. It was simply the best way to start our trip and a great introduction to Korean food and culture! We really enjoyed the stroll through the local food market and the explanations about the various ingredients that give Korean its typical taste. Chris was very friendly. He guided us professionally throughout the preparation of the various dishes (bulgogi, jap chae, korean pancake and salad in our case) while making the whole experience feel personal (we were lucky to be just the two of us with Chris that evening). Since my boyfriend is a vegetarian, Chris offered to replace meat with various types of mushrooms. The vegetarian dishes were as good as the standard meaty versions. Travelling in Korea as a vegetarian is not simple and this enabled my boyfriend to enjoy Korean cooking and seasoning without meat. We learnt a lot and were given the recipes at the end of the class, to try and make the dishes back home. I highly recommend Chris’s cooking class! It was a great experience and evening overall! :)

She organized the whole trip and chose Chris's course based on reviews she had read over the web. I went without knowing what to expect at all. Chris met us at the exit of the closest subway station to where the class takes place. We strolled around the local market and then went to prepare some delicious Korean dishes. To cut a long story short, Chris is attentive, very kind, funny and so colorful! I loved taking the class, he is a character! He quickly adapted to my dietary restriction by proposing an alternative option. The welcoming was perfect, the kitchen and dining table were spotless clean and Chris paid attention to every detail! I would recommend this course for sure!

Your cooking teacher and guide is Chris, who is professionally trained; he'll take you on a market tour and teach you a bit of Korean food history after which you'll cook in his impeccable, warm, welcoming, and comfortable studio. It's a bargain at twice the price. Chris has thought of every detail--tiny and grand--to impress participants, who will feel like red carpet guests. DO THIS!

Chris is very nice and taught us how to cooking the Korean dishes in sample way. We love the meal very much, so delicious. We will definitely recommend this cooking class to our friends.
