★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 다른향교에 비하여 작은규모여도 시설이 많은데, 홍보물이나 안내가이드하시는분없음. 모든문을 열쇠로 잠궈두면 누가볼수있을까요?
Compared to other fragrances, there are many facilities even though it is small. Who can see if all the doors are locked?

광주에서 나고 자랐음에도...이곳엔 처음 들렀다.
마침 방문하니... 유학 수업중인지... 수강생들이 계속 출입문에서 들어온다.
이런 좋은 관광 인프라를 가지고 있으면...활용을 해야할것 아닌가! 시민 대상 인문학 수업도, 전통혼례식도, 하여튼 적극 활용하시라!
이러면에선 광주시 공무원들의 분발을 촉구할 수 밖에 없다!
Visited in early June 2021.
Even though I was born and raised in Gwangju...it was my first time visiting this place.
Just in time, I visited... I was studying abroad, and students kept coming in through the door.
If you have such a good tourism infrastructure... you should use it! Take advantage of humanities classes for citizens and traditional weddings, anyway!
In this regard, we have no choice but to urge Gwangju city officials to work hard!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "국립중등교육기관의 조선시대ver" 현대의 한국인들은 중학교와 고등학교를 다닙니다.
이 두 교육과정은 중등교육과정으로 묶입니다. 과거에도 이러한 중등교육을 담당하는 기관이 있었는데 그 중 하나가 향교였습니다.
향교는 서당(현 초등학교)의 다음 단계 교육기관이었습니다. 서당에서는 문자를 읽고 쓰는 방법을 배운다면, 중등교육과정에서는 이를 기반으로 특정한 가정 하에 정합성을 띠는 내용을 배웁니다. 이는 현대의 중등교육과 다를 바 없지요. 그러나 이에 한 가지 기능이 더 있었으니, 그것은 제사를 담당하는 기능이었습니다.
이러한 향교는 서서히 교육기능을 잃게 되는데 이는 서원과의 경쟁에서 밀렸기 때문입니다. 유명 학자가 세운 서원은 후학을 양성하여 많은 제자를 정계진출시키고 정치력이 커짐에 따라 향교보다 더 선호되었고 결국 향교는 도태되고 맙니다.
이러한 향교는 결국 제사기능만 남게되고 지금은 전통문화공간으로 남아있습니다
"The Joseon Dynasty ver of the National Secondary Education Institution" Modern Koreans attend middle school and high school.
These two curricula are combined into the Secondary Curriculum. In the past, there were institutions in charge of such secondary education, and one of them was Hyanggyo.
Hyanggyo was the next-level educational institution of Seodang (now elementary school). In Seodang, students learn how to read and write characters, while in the secondary education curriculum, they learn content that is consistent under certain assumptions. This is no different from modern secondary education. However, there was one more function to this, and it was the function in charge of the sacrifice.
These hyanggyo gradually lose their educational function because they were pushed out of competition with the seowon. The seowon, established by famous scholars, nurtured juniors and allowed many students to advance into politics, and as their political power grew, they were preferred over hyanggyo.
In the end, only the function of ancestral rites remains in this hyanggyo, and now it remains as a traditional cultural space.
