★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning and picturesque! Highly recommend for anyone feeling like getting lost in the forest. Beside the different hiking trails which are quite short, one can visit coffee shops located within the premises or surrounding areas. Absolutely loved the Lee Lee Nam art centre, situated in the heart of the forest.
Each season offers a stunning and unique view and perspective of the forest ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go for a walk, admission is just 3000 won. Very easy afternoon trip from Gwangju. It's near Guksu (Noodle) Street, which is a great area to stop for a cheap and delicious lunch since Damyang is famous for noodles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful forest. Lots of fun trails to follow. Easy to social distance. Delicious bamboo ice cream. Very clean. Lots of fun stuff to do and souvenirs to get right there. Lots of cute shops.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! It's very beautiful and peaceful. There's a couple cafes inside so you can grab a coffee or tea while you walk. The trees hadn't really gotten their leaves back just yet, but the bamboo was nice and green. I think it would be even more beautiful after the trees get their leaves back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really beautiful and refreshing, even during the cold end of fall. Forest bathe in bamboo, y'all. Shame about all the grafitti and "Min-ji loves Hong-cheol" nonsense etched into every third bamboo stem, even with clear signs everywhere not to do that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bamboo forest is nice. I was surprise when reaching ... peak (I dont remember name). It's just a hillock as the last picture and some people were walking around it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great! The trails were groomed and it was nice and peaceful just to sit around and listen to the bamboo. They’ve got various benches and pagodas throughout to enjoy a snack while you hike around. We came before 10 o’clock and found parking easily. It was not crowded as we walk through.
