★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 죽산 순교성지는 1866년부터 시작된 병인박해 때 순교하신 24위 순교자의 신앙을 기리기 위한 성지입니다.
죽산 지역의 교우촌에서 수많은 교우들이 박해를 받았으며, 병인박해(1866년)부터 신미양요(1871년)까지 이름이 알려진 분만 해도 스물네 분의 교우들이 순교하였으며, 이름이 전해지지 않은 순교자들이 더 많이 있었을 것입니다.
순교성지는 1994년 경부터 성역화 하여 성당과 순교자 묘역, 십자가의 길, 묵주기도의 길, 십자가 동산 등이 조성되어 있습니다.
미사는 오전 11시에 있습니다. (월요일 제외)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 코로나 때문에 성당은 미사시간만 개방하지만 묵주기도와 십자가의 길을 걸으며 자연속에서 기도할 수 있는 성지입니다. 순교자들 무덤에서 묵상해도 좋고요. 근처에 흔들바위도 있으니 산책하기도 좋아요.
Because of the corona, the cathedral is only open for Mass, but it is a holy place where you can pray in nature while walking the Rosary and the Cross. You can meditate on the graves of the martyrs. There is also rocking rock nearby, so it's good to take a walk.

장미꽃으로 만발한 묵주기도 동산은 너무 아름다웠어요~
