★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to Jovy's Grill since 2015 when they had their first branch in Sinseoldong. I like their new branch in Seongbuk-dong. The atmosphere and the food is good. The crispy pata is truly crispy and the Bicol Express explodes in spicy delight. I always order two garlic rice here just because! Their turon is yummy and not too sweet - must order! I just wish they have more desserts - like specials.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely the best Filipino restaurant in all of Seoul that I have ever been to. Jovy's grill has far exceeded my expectations on what a global Philippines food cannon should be. The menu, while not comprehensive, has every element of a traditional Philippine cuisine. Everything from ingredients to the seasoning has been exceptionally cared for. The decorations could have been better, of course, but given the price and the taste of the food, would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sisig (their more popular dishes) runs out by 3pm and isn't offered on dinner menu. Same goes for the fried plantains. That's why I couldn't give this a 5. Customer misses out on one of the best dishes in the dinner menu. But in terms of taste, not bad, but also not the best I've ever tasted in Korea. If you've never had philippines food or you miss it, this place is still worth the visit. Seating fills up fast so try to get there earlier the better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the food! The pancit was really flavorful. Seafood kare kare was also good but I would rather have the tripe kare kare with bagoong which is what is traditionally served in the Philippines. A bit of a downside is the price, which is quite expensive. However, the ambience really made me feel at home.
