★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The main attraction for tourists is the pancake alleyways, the 2 alleyways crossed in the middle. It is jam packed full of people, the food stallz include offering of traditional food to coffee stands. Muslim friendly recommendations include hhotteok (korean rice cake fried with honey-sesame filling), bindaetteok (fried mung bean pancake), tteokpokki (spicy rice cake), spicy sesame chicken feet, japchae and oden. Non muslim recommendations include all of the above and sundae (black pudding sausage), pigs trotters and feet. Some stores sell a lot of snacks which are terrific for souvenirs, these include (among so many) flavored almonds, a variety of seaweed and seaweed crackers.
It is a must see destination to experience!
