까마득한 옛적에 인류가 터전으로 삼았다는 것만으로도 살기 좋은 명당으로 생각됨.
5분거리에 지하철 진천역이 있으며
근처에 유명한 온천(나성하와이, 생활온천)이 있고, 유명 한식당(미담 )과 중화요리전문(취팔선)식당 등이 성업 중임.
아파트 앞 도로는 원래 진천(미리내)으로 복개도로이며 향후 고가도로 건설 계획이 있음.
맞은편 대구수목원에는 다양한 나무와 식물들이 잘 관리되어 있고 그뒤로 문씨세거지와 벽화마을, 화원휴양림, 미나리집단재배지 등과 연계되어 사계절 많은 이들이 즐겨 찾는 명소임.
