생활속의 종들 등으로 전시물이 구성되어 있습니다
박물관 마당에는 성덕대왕신종을 닮은 종이 있어
타종을 해볼수 있었는데
주변에 울려퍼지는 소리가 너무 좋았답니다
박물관 주변에 작은 공원과 놀이터가 있어서 박물관 관람후
놀수도 있었고요
진천 여행시 아이들과 들러보시라고 추천드려요

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 큼지막한 범종을 직접 쳐 볼 수 있어 참 좋네요. 입장료도 싸고.. 아이들과 함께 가기에도 참 좋은 곳입니다.
It's nice to be able to hit the big bells directly. Admission is cheap. It's a great place to go with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 전국에 종박물관이 몇곳이나 있을까 싶습니다.
종에 대한 이야기, 만드는 과정, 시대별 종소리 비교 등 종에 대한 이야기들이 있습니다.
매표후 입장하면 성덕대왕신종이 자리잡고 있습니다. 물론 복제품이죠. 성덕대왕신종에 대한 비중이 큽니다. 2층 영상도 있고, 외부에 타종해 볼 수 있는 복제품이 있습니다. 소리는 차이가 있겠지만 외형의 문양을 자세히 볼 수 있고, 만져볼 수 있고, 가장 중요한 타종을 할 수 있습니다.
박물관이라고하면 눈으로만 보는것이 전부인데 직접 만져보고 사용해볼 수 있는것은 큰 장점입니다. 모든 전시물을 만져볼 수 있는것은 아니니까 오해 마시기 바랍니다.
시대별 종소리를 비교해서 들어볼 수 있는것은 참 좋았습니다.
통일신라, 고려, 조선. 각각의 소리를 들으면서 비교를 하니 차이점이 잘 들어옵니다.
넓은 주차시설과 공원도 큰 장점입니다.
아이들과 오시는분들은 큰 매력이 있습니다.

Ample parking facilities and parks are also a big plus.
There is a big attraction for those who come with children.
