★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the 8:40 ride and was the first team to ride that day. Quite cold in the morning, especially during the ride so I recommend wearing a thick jacket if you're planning to go during autumn-spring season. The staff was kind but they spoke only in Korean (maybe because I spoke to them in Korean as well).
Also, be aware that the seats are very hard and uncomfortable. My butt ached so much as soon as the ride started and the pain made it difficult for me and my friend to pedal properly. Other than the cold and the rock-hard seats, the ride was fun and the view was amazing. You get to ride by the river and farms, and through the caves. I wish to try other rail bike spots throughout Korea now.
A cute train comes to pick you up at your destination and takes you back to the place where you got on the rail bike (better to take pics at this time than when you're pedaling the bike). We were the first team to reach the destination so we had a few mins to buy a local rice cake (surichi-tteok). It is delicious and I'm having a piece as I am writing this review. Wish I had bought some more (this rice cake is available all over Jeongseon area).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wasn't the one who got the tickets, so I'm not sure how hard it is to navigate getting them. However, if you at all are able, I highly recommend this! It's a wonderful (and pretty easy) downhill rail bike ride through some of the most beautiful scenes I have seen in Korea so far (I went mid-spring). I will definitely go back for another round. It's great for a family, they have four seater bikes; really good for dates, and good for a day out with friends.
