웬만한 순댓국집에는 깍두기와 깨, 부추무침, 새우젓이 준비되어 있어 기호에 맞게끔 국물을 커스터마이징해 먹을 수 있다. 이 중에 깨는 보통 들깨가 준비되어 있는데 호불호가 많이 갈린다. 좋아하는 사람들은 고소한 맛이 나서 좋다고 말 그대로 퍼붓지만, 들깨맛 때문에 국물맛 버린다고 전혀 안 넣는 사람들도 많다. 또한 들어가는 순대가 일반 순대이냐 고기(피)순대냐에 따라서 맛이 또 다르며, 내장의 식감을 싫어하는 경우 '순대만 넣어주세요'라고 하면 순대만 넣어준다. 순대만 넣어달라고 하는 경우 간혹 추가요금을 받는 곳이 있다. 고기순대로 순댓국을 끓여주는 집의 경우는 왠지 득 본 기분.

위생상태가 안좋아요
하지만 부속내장을 엄청나게 줍니다
한끼먹으면 하루종일 든든할정도로 배터지게고기를 먹을수잇고
순대국시키면 내장도 같이 한그릇 나오는게 장점입니다
