★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best handmade Korean traditional dumpling place in Seoul. Hands down. All the dishes are very healthy and tasty made with best seasonal ingredients available. I feel the highest level of consistency in food quality wherever I visit. A great place for family/ friends gathering and an excellent option to bring foreign visitors given that the restaurant has an amazing view of In-Wang mountain. A must try place for everyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They used to have free valet service but now I guess they are charging money. It used to be a great place to go but I think it's going down the hill. Everything is all about money now I guess. If you could cook your own meal it's better to eat it at your own home with fresh ingredients.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you were trying to figure out how the beef broth in Seoul had been like 3 or 4 decades ago, this place might be the one to give you a glimpse of the taste of Seoul back in old days. But other than that, overall tastes in here are just way too normal; just like the way any decent Korean family meals would have tasted 3-4 decades ago.
Although they serve you some old flavor of Seoul family meals, you should never expect any welcoming attitude from them. The owner is too tired to just say hello to customers, and the employees are so stubborn and taciturn as their employer. Please do not mistake this stubbornness with the typical shyness of politeness; they just don't care what you think of their foods.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It felt like I was coming home (to Korea) for the holidays. Mandoo is exactly how we have it at home--homemade with love and care, using the best quality ingredients. Beautiful presentations, gem of a view (doesn't feel like Seoul), and warm service. There's nothing better, really.
