★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun place to check out and if you’re only in Korea for a couple days this definitely needs to be on the list. Most of the good art galleries are in this area and those are definitely worth checking out even if you’re not big into art It is definitely worth stopping by those galleries and seeing some amazing local works.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A lovely arts and cultural place to soak in the artistic side of Seoul. Lots of shops selling souveniers, bags, dress, food, crafts, paintings and there are also small museums tucked away within the alleys that offer you insights to several paintings. Lovely place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here early in the morning to avoid the crowd, it's a street with an entire stretch of interesting shops, if you're looking to buy something unique in Korea back home then this is the place, highly recommend to try their teahouse for a snack and the Buddhist vegetarian fine dining!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great area to walk around. Nice combination of of original buildings, alley ways, and modern shopping options.(but not the huge shopping centre type). This area is a beautiful area to walk around and sample the local food, arts, fashion or simply relax at a dessert cafe.
