My father-in-law suddenly passed away and was hospitalized for a month in the intensive care unit through the emergency room of Sanggye Paik Hospital. We would like to thank Professor Joong-Hyun Park of the Department of Neurology. Emergency room nurse. Thank you to all the nurses in the intensive care unit. With the dedicated help of the teachers, my father went to heaven in peace, and my family would like to express my gratitude to the teachers at Sanggye Paik Hospital.

The dermatologist is such a garbage place.
I went to the hospital after taking a day off sick, and suddenly, without prior notice, they kicked me out saying I had to go through a corona test.
I made a reservation again on November 29th, but without a word, it was postponed to December 6th.
They ask me to text me for the treatment date, but I deliberately ignore it.
It continues to send to other people's cell phones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All facilities are OLD. Hard to use elevators with crowded people always. Lack of elevator number. But they have good dotors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible emergency room care. I have been through a number of different hospital emergency wards over 20 years in Korea. There were some attentive people here, floor guidance people and xray technicians, but the interns were incapable and uncaring for the most part. And it seemed to be only interns running the whole emergency ward. Saw one doctor saunter by in the 3 hours I laid on a cot waiting for nothing more than a blood test and xray results. My wife warned me not to go here, but it was the closest hospital. Avoid if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many many families in the nowon/sanggye area lost their loved ones at this hospital. RIP. Known as death hospital by locals.
Poorly trained nervous intern/staff, emergency room is a death wish, uneducated tier 3 doctors. I actually saw a doctor refer to text books while trying figure out how to treat his patient in the emergency room. This place needs to be shut down and all the so called doctors plus intern/staff/mngt need to be locked up. This is one cause I will actually invest my time and money to, the evidence is undeniable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Single most traumatic experience in my life. I had been having chest pain and acid reflux for a while, so they recommended an endoscopy. I paid for anesthetic in order to be knocked out for it, which wasn't cheap. They promised I would be asleep and wouldn't feel a thing. So I show up and they spray some strawberry juice in my mouth that I later learned was supposed to numb my throat but didn't. And then while I was on the bed they said, "Oh sorry, we can't give you the full anesthetic because it might stop your heart." Even though I had had full anesthetic before when I was in the US. So they shot me up with a tiny bit and before waiting for it to take effect they stuffed the tube down my throat and I was choking and gagging and crying and I tried to tell them to stop, but they wouldn't. The anesthetic didn't start to take effect until a few minutes after the procedure and I just felt a bit dizzy and that's it. I talked to the doctor after and asked for a refund on the anesthetic, but she refused cause "We already administered it". Now I am completely traumatized and even though I still suffer from major acid reflux I refuse to get an endoscopy again at any hospital in Korea. I will wait and get one when I go back to my home country to visit my family even if I need to pay thousands of dollars. Not going to put my health in the hand of these quacks ever again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having paid the bill at 11:44AM, I received the queue number for prescribed medicines. It then took the pharmacy 40+ minutes to hand them out. Was it a complicated medicine? Not at all. With prescription, they can simply be bought in any usual pharmacies. Was it the first time this happened? Not at all. There are countless days I’ve waited for 20 minutes and more. Did anyone apologise for making a patient wait in times of the pandemic? Not. at. all.
Out of frustration, I asked the pharmacist why it takes so long for them to give out this simple medicine. She nonchalantly responded that it depends on the department: If the nurses want you to wait, they can make you wait. Basically, the nurses knew someone is waiting for their medicines and pervertedly enjoyed making him wait.
Is there any legal clause based on which I can sue the nurses involved or the hospital as a whole? No. Well, welcome to Korea.
