★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 달달한 치킨이 생각나서 뭐 먹을지 고민하던 중 호불호 많이 갈리는 메이플버터갈릭 치킨이 생각나서 시켜봄. 맛이 있을지 없을지 몰라서 6조각 말고 4조각짜리고 시킴. 그리고 부족한 양을 채우기 위해 사이드 메뉴 구경하던 중 BBQ 치즈볼 10구가 눈에 들어와 바로 시켜버림. 일단 메인 메뉴인 치킨의 맛을 평가해보자면 개인적으로는 호였음. 메이플버터의 달달함을 기본으로 하면서도 중간중간에 갈릭의 맛과 향기가 잘 풍겨져나와서 두 소스의 강점을 잘 배합한 것 같고 양념류 치킨이면서도 튀김옷의 바삭함이 그대로 살아있어서 식감도 만족스러웠음. 메이플버터는 영화관의 카라멜팝콘의 맛과 비슷한 듯. 다음으로 치즈볼인데 결론부터 말하자면 황금알치즈볼과 쇼콜라볼 빼고는 그저그랬음. 황금알 치즈볼은 늘어나는 치즈가 아니라 까슬까슬한 식감의 치즈를 기본치즈롤 둘러싼 형태인데 까슬까슬한 치즈가 단짠단짠을 제대로 보여줘서 맛있었음. 쇼콜라볼은 치즈볼에 초코 풍미가 가득 느껴져서 좋았음. 고구마치즈볼은 고구마 식감은 느껴지는데 고구마 향이나 맛은 거의 느껴지지 않아서 고구마 맛을 기대한 사람으로서는 별로였음. 크림치즈볼은 크림처럼 부드러운 식감의 치즈가 가득 담겨있는 치즈볼로 식감 자체는 나쁘지 않았으나 아무런 맛이 느껴지지 않아 그닥 당기진 않았음. 더블치즈볼은 치즈 두 종류가 들어가긴 한 것 같은데 어떤 치즈인지 잘 느껴지지 않아서 먹을수록 미궁에 빠지는 맛으로 맛 자체가 빼어나지는 않아서 그냥그랬음.
While thinking about what to eat because I remembered sweet chicken, I thought of Maple Butter Garlic Chicken, which has a lot of likes and dislikes, so I ordered it. I didn't know if it would taste good or not, so I ordered 4 pieces instead of 6 pieces. And while I was browsing the side menu to make up for the shortage, 10 BBQ cheese balls caught my eye and I ordered it right away. First of all, if I were to evaluate the taste of chicken, the main menu, I personally liked it. Although it is based on the sweetness of maple butter, the taste and aroma of garlic spread well in the middle, so the strengths of the two sauces were well blended. Maple butter tastes similar to caramel popcorn from movie theaters. Next up is the cheese ball, but in conclusion, it was just okay except for the golden egg cheese ball and the chocolate ball. The golden egg cheese ball is not a cheese that stretches, but a basic cheese roll with a crunchy texture around it. The chocolate ball was good because the cheese ball was full of chocolate flavor. The sweet potato cheese ball has a sweet potato texture, but hardly any sweet potato flavor or taste, so it was not good for those who expected sweet potato taste. The cream cheese ball is a cheese ball filled with cheese with a creamy texture. The double cheese ball seems to contain two types of cheese, but I don't know what kind of cheese it is.
