★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to experience some of traditional stuff and something indigenous to Korea. There is no phone in the room and the lock key to each room isn't solid enough to really prevent intruders from breaking in your room. Also, the building does not do a good job in keeping the noises from the adjacent rooms down. However, it is worth staying for a couple of days for the whole new experience. All the major historical places are nearby and you can even walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not your normal hotel. If you imagine sleeping in a house in Korea back in the 1500's.. this is what it would be like. But not in a bad way by any means! It's just the style of the buildings is very old fashioned. It has all the amenities of a regular hotel except for beds; they give you Kat's and pillows to lay on the floor. But that's pretty normal in Korea, if you're an outsider and are not use to sleeping on floor, I'd still say give this place a try. It's in a historic city with lots of culture, so try something different for once in your life you swine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed in this Hanok style hotel for 2 nights in their largest unit. This is the place you go for its prestigious history and be immersed in the hanok, surrounded by staff and other guests who are all about keeping the hanok for the present and the future. Loved the atmosphere and if you decide to stay, check out their breakfast (with the great view, 10 bucks per person) and coffee shop (hand drip coffee around 5-6 bucks)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to recommend for those who just want to experience a traditional hanok house.
However, I think the price is a bit expensive than it's quality.
Staff are generally friendly.
I believe If room cleaning condition was improved, more guests would be satisfied.
