C	CHANGHEE LIM on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 국내 최초 맥주공장 견학관 ‘하이트피아’ 하이트 맥주를 생산하는 하이트진로는 전국 6곳의 공장시설 가운데 강원 홍천과 전북 전주 2곳에 대규모 맥주 제조 설비를 갖췄다. 1933년 대한민국 최초로 설립된 하이트진로의 강원과 전주 맥주공장은 연간 5만여 명의 국내외 관광객이 찾는 대표적인 기업형 산업관광 명소다. 홍천군 북방면에 있는 공장은 연간 50만kL의 맥주를 생산하는 동양 최대 규모의 맥주 공장이다. 공장 내 108개의 대형 탱크에는 성인 한 명이 하루에 10병씩 꼬박 330년을 마실 수 있는 60만L의 맥주가 저장돼 있다. 완주군 용진읍에 있는 전주공장은 최첨단 기술이 접목된 자동화 설비를 갖춘 맥주 제조 공장으로 연간 49만kL를 생산한다. 견학 및 시음 프로그램은 공장 내 전용 견학관인 하이트피아(HITEPIA)에서 운영한다. 주말과 공휴일을 제외한 평일 오전 10시~오후 3시까지 총 8회 공장견학 프로그램을 무료로 진행한다. 견학 후 당일 생산한 생맥주를 간단한 스낵과 함께 시음할 수도 있다. 강원 공장은 1회 수용인원이 90명, 전주 공장은 40명이다. 최소 3주 전에는 홈페이지를 통해 신청해야 한다.
