처음가시는 분은 추천으로 백숙기본 맛을 보시면 되요. 아! 잠시만 일단 반찬 12가지 정도에 민물 간장게장을 줘요. 꼭 드세요. 일단 밑반찬에 밥을 하나 드시면 준비된 백숙이 부글부글 끓어요. 그러면 덜어서 드시면 되는데 혼자 가시면 1인분으로 너무 많으시고 저희가 4명 갔는데 좀 남는 정도였어요. 그렇게 먹고 나오시면 되요.
tmi : 예전에는 계곡 산장 같은 느낌이었는데 이제 식당이구나라고 느껴집니다. 그리고 여기 옺닭하고 닭 집인데 매운탕이 정말 맛있어요.

tmi: It used to feel like a valley lodge, but now I feel like it's a restaurant. And here's a chicken and chicken house, and the maeuntang is really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 민물매운탕이 먹을만 합니다. 강가에 있어 경치도 좋습니다. 음식 간이 과하지 않고 깔끔합니다. 밑반찬 수는 좀 과합니다. 4-5가지 중요하지 않은 것은 환경보호를 위해 줄여도 좋을 듯 합니다.
Freshwater Maeuntang is edible. The view is also good because it is located by the river. The food isn't too seasoned and it's neat. The number of side dishes is a bit excessive. The 4-5 non-essential things may be reduced to protect the environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 순천지역에 오래 거주하신 친척분 소개로 갔는데 지역 맛집인지 점시시간이 지난 시간임에도 손님이 꽤 있었음. 빠가사리 매운탕이 유명한것 같은데 재료소진으로 못먹고 메기매운탕 주문. 메기가 꽤 크고 살도 많았음. 여수에 가까워서인지 돌게도 많이 들어있고 민물새우도 많이 들어간 매운탕. 맛은 괜찮았으나 기본적으로 제피가루가 들어가있는듯 해서 입에 맛지 않을수도 있음.
전라도식당답게 밑반찬 종류도 많고 맛도 괜찮음.
주차가 가능은 하지만 편하지는 않음.
개인적으로 서울음식에 익숙해서인지 아주 맛있다고 느끼지는 않음.

Pagasari Maeuntang seems to be famous, but I couldn't eat it because I ran out of ingredients, so I ordered the Catfish Maeuntang. The catfish were quite large and fleshy. Because it is close to Yeosu, it contains a lot of stone crab and a lot of freshwater shrimp. The taste was okay, but it may not taste good in your mouth as it basically seems to contain skin powder.
As a Jeolla-do restaurant, there are many kinds of side dishes and the taste is good.
Parking is available but not convenient.
Personally, I don't think it's very tasty because I'm used to Seoul food.
