The place where my father took me as soon as I was in high school in the 90s. This was the first sushi/sashimi I ate in my life. This is where I first learned the standards of sushi and sashimi. I went back last month and this place is still legendary.

But this is Korean style Japanese food - don’t expect Japanese style. Omakase here is done within 90 mins at max. Great food but service can be done more at leasurely pace. I also notice that they serve same old repertoire Omakase while I was visiting repeatedly. At KRW 100,000 = USD 80 per person per visit, I think they can definitely mix things up a bit more and get creative.

There was even a dish that had blowfish. You can see from the pictures just how fresh the fish was. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!
