★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You may have been to many service areas / rest stops but none are quite like the one in Haengdam Island. The atmosphere and location really makes you feel like you've set off of your road trip.
There are plenty of shops and food stalls to enjoy as well as plenty of public amenities. There's also an outlet mall nearby if you feel like shopping a little more.
This is my favorite rest stop in Korea, by far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard that this place is the only service area located on an island(Hangdam island) in Korea. It is in the middle of the SeohaeDaegyo(bridge) which makes this place kind of special.
So, it has a nice view but except that, I wasn't really impressed. Maybe I haven't spent enough time to look around.
One thing you have to know about this place is that the gas price here is ridiculously expensive unless you have a membership to SK.
