★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small neighbourhood where various traditional houses were converted to shops, cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops. Quite an enjoyable place to explore as there are different things for you to do. There is also a preserved old house for visitors to see how it used be back in the days.
Word of advice though, be sure to visit the place before 4pm. When we were here around 5pm, most of the shops were already closed or in the process of closing. Some of the opening hours are up til 5pm. Getting here is also not easy via bus, so we cycled all the way here.
With that being said, think this is quite a cool place to spend a couple of hours and is somewhat similar to Busan's Gamcheon Village and Seoul's Bukchon Village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I loved it. Really nice traditional style korean village. It really feels like you've gone back to the old Korea, we also rented some hanbok, (10.000 won for 1 hour) and that just added to the whole experience.

This is one of the most fun and exciting trip I've been is the Gyeongju trip. Gyochon Traditional Village is a place that you will enjoy visiting the old villages, experience korean tradition, and a lot more activities. There are traditional restaurants and coffee shops when you want to chill after visiting the place. I strongly recommend to visit this wonderful place of Gyochon Village.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful traditional village since Silla dynasty. There are some traditional restaurants in this area that worth to try. The scenery here is so calm and nice. Here, you also see Woljeonggyo bridge that across the Nam river. A should-try experience here is wearing hanbok and walking around. You will have so many beautiful and meaningful photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a really good place to get some activities. Me and my friends ate lunch here, also tried Hanbok for an hour and we had the chance to make bracelets. It was really fun since i was with my friends and the place is really friendly for families, groups and couples.
