★ ★ ★ ★ ★ KTX가 정차하는 광주송정보다 번화가에 가까우나 단선으로 되어있는 광주선때문에 열차 운행이 많이없고 고속선이 없다보니 상권이 죽어감 고속선을 이용한다면 광주송정역이지만 기차여행의 묘미도 있는 광주역도 괜찮은 선택 광주-광주송정간 셔틀열차는 잘만든듯하다
It is near Gwangju Song Information that KTX stops, but because there is not a lot of trains and there are no high-speed lines because of the Gwangju Line which is a single line, if you use the high-speed line, Gwangju Songjeong Station is a good choice, but Gwangju Station is also a good choice. The shuttle train between Gwangju Songjeong seems to have been well made.

광주송정역이생기면서
호남에서 가장 큰 철도역이었으나,
고속전철(ktx,srt)등장으로 잊혀져가는 역이 되어버렸다.
광주 도심에 가까이 자리잡았지만
지금은 광주송정역으로 대신하고
광주역 내부는 마치 간이역처럼 이용객이 많지않다.
현재 광주역은 일반열차만 몇 번 들어오는 썰렁한 역이다.
현대사의 중요한 현장이 되었던 그런 중요 역으로서의 지위는 사라졌다.
대구역과 동대구역처럼 도시의 이름을 대표하는 역이지만
실제적인 이동인구는 전혀다르다.
광주역앞에는
도시의 작은지하철역 처럼보이지만
이동인구는 매우작고 한산하다.
