★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 대관령박물관 가기 전에 강릉솔향수목원을 먼저 가시길 추천드립니다. 솔향숲 우거진 길을 계곡소리와 함께 걸어가는 코스가 절경입니다. 코스 선택을 매표소 입구에서 여쭤보면 친절하게 안내를 해주십니다. 산책로 1시간 반 정도 걸으시는 코스가 가파르지는 않아서 걷기 버겁지는 않답니다. 전망대에서는 강릉시내와 동해바다를 조망할 수가 있답니다
 Before going to Daegwallyeong Museum, we recommend that you visit Gangneung Sol Hyang Arboretum first. The course that walks through the pine forest with the sound of the valley is a superb view. If you ask about course selection at the entrance of the ticket office, they will kindly guide you. The trail, which takes about an hour and a half, is not steep, so it is not difficult to walk. From the observatory, you can see Gangneung city and the East Sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thoroughly enjoyed the walk in the woods with the unceasing sound of water flowing through the valleys and birds chirping in the background.
The walkways were very good with well-kept trees offering a plenty of shades. While my main interest was in trees, the place also had a fair range of flowers.
By the way, there are snake warning signs and I encountered a small snake, which seemed harmless, on my way.
