★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 韓国33観音聖地のひとつ。慶州高速バスターミナルバス停から100番バスで、約50分で、安洞・祇林寺・骨窟寺入口というバス停で下車。そこから、骨窟寺を経由する道を1時間程度歩いて、やっと祇林寺に到着しました。途中でバスが来ることを期待していましたが、バスは全く違う道を通っていました。祇林寺まで行くバスは、1日4本しかないようで、安洞・祇林寺・骨窟寺入口バス停の次のバス停から乗ることが出来るようでした。バス通り、祇林寺でタクシーを全く見かけなかったので、歩いていくか、1日4本のバスを狙って行くしかなさそうでした。

From the Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal bus stop, take bus number 100 and get off at the bus stop called Andong, Girimsa, Golgulsa entrance in about 50 minutes. From there, I walked the road via Golgulsa Temple for about an hour and finally arrived at Girimsa Temple. I was expecting a bus to come along the way, but the bus was on a completely different path. It seems that there are only four buses going to Girimsa Temple a day, and it seems that you can get on from the bus stop next to the entrance bus stop of Andong, Girimsa Temple, and Golgulsa Temple. I didn't see any taxi at Sorinji on the bus street, so I had to walk or aim for 4 buses a day.

643년(선덕여왕 12) 천축국(天竺國) 승려 광유(光有)가 창건, 임정사(林井寺)라고 하다가 원효(元曉)가 확장, 중수하고 기림사로 개칭하였다. 1863년(철종 14) 본사(本寺)와 요사(寮舍) 113칸이 불타 없어졌다. 당시 지방관이던 송정화(宋廷和)의 혜시(惠施)로 중건한 것이 현 건물이다. 다행히 《경상도영주제명기(慶尙道營主題名記)》 《동도역세제자기(東都歷世諸子記)》 《부호장선생안(府戶長先生案)》 등의 중요한 문적(文籍)과 근세조선 역대 왕의 어필(御筆) 등이 병화(兵火)를 입지 않고 보관되어 있다.
이 밖에 목탑지(木塔址), 3층석탑, 오백나한상(지방유형문화재 214) 등이 있고, 보물로 대적광전(大寂光殿:보물 833), 건칠보살좌상(乾漆菩薩坐像:보물 415), 삼신불(三神佛:보물 958), 복장유물(보물 959) 등이 있다.

Bulguksa Temple is the headquarters of the 11th parish of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism.
It was founded in 643 (the 12th year of Queen Seondeok) by Gwangyu, a monk from Cheonchukguk, and called Imjeongsa. In 1863 (the 14th year of King Cheoljong), the main temple and 113 rooms of Yosa were burned down. The current building was reconstructed with the help of Song Jeong-hwa, a local government official at the time. Fortunately, important documents such as Gyeongsang-do Yeongju Jemyeonggi (慶尙道營主題名記), Dongdo Yeoksae Discipleship (East Capital Station Discipleship), and Buhojang seonsaengan (府戶長先生案), etc. Eopil (御筆) of the successive kings of the Joseon Dynasty, etc., are kept without being burned by fire.
In addition, there are wooden pagodas, three-story stone pagodas, and five hundred nahan statues (local tangible cultural assets 214). (Three Gods: Treasure 958), costume relics (Treasure 959), etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ korean buddhism culture is historical, this is part of it . thousand-year old temple that can be visited at any season. The beautiful temple garden also stands out and is cozy. , such a quiet place, love the environment and atmostphere too ,The old temple full of ancient trees in the primeval forest is a good healing place well-kept with various flowers.

There are many great temples like Girimsa Temple, so if you come to Gyeongju, it would be good to visit other places, not just famous places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We entered the Girimsa temple complex after walking a bit from the forest. When we got there, there was little visitor and it was lovely to walk here with these beautiful flowers and bamboo trees along the beautiful plains of the mountain. Girimsa is a very old architecturally decorated Buddhist temple located in Southeast Gyeongju. It is very clean and empty space, some national treasures are kept here. If you are a temple lover then this is one of the most beautiful places for you. Highly recommend place for local , nature lover and spiritual person.
