★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite places for a delicious meal of budae-chigae (forgive the spelling). Friendly, attentive staff. Incredibly inexpensive for the food you get. If you're in the area, this is a must try for fresh, hot, Korean stews.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My First favorite restaurant is 김네집 in Sinjang-dong. This is budaejjigae restaurant, my favorite menu too. This budaejjigae is different other budaejjigae. This budaejjigae is sticky and creamy, and It has many ham, too. so It is very delicious. This restaurant is shabby, but this is hidden good restaurant. My family pick-up this, and go early or you may stand. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Budaejjigae here is absolutely delicious. It's what the restaurant is famous for. If you're looking for a spicy stew to wake you up, this is the place. It's been in Songtan for years and if you stop in, you'll see why. The cost per person is ￦9,000 and you can't beat it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has to be the best budaejigae (base or sausage stew) that I have had in Korea. The taste is deep and strong. They add a heaping spoonful of garlic while its cooking. Words can not describe how amazing this food is. This place is famous for a reason. You might need to take the line to get in, but very much worth it. I just hope I will still enjoy budaejigae in other places after tasting this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Several years ago, On the way to the dogo onsen, We had a Songtan budae jjigae as lunch. Ujongbu Style Budae JJige is one of the most famous 'budae jjige' in Korea. But I think Songtan Style Buade jjige is also good taste.
